Deep dropping at Browns Mountain
Andrew’s Browns Mountain articles cover gemfish, blue-eye trevalla, tackle and managing the drift. One report describes fishing at about 420 metres. They are a useful read if you are thinking about a deep-water trip.
Northern and southern Sydney

A public, localised fishing reference for a relatively broad, gently sloping boulder reef. The published point identifies a sounded and dived section where large schools of fish were observed. The primary source calls Trawleys a well-known recreational fishing reef; a separate fishing listing reports snapper, trevally, morwong and mulloway, without implying those species or a bite are guaranteed.
