Wonboyn Lake and Merimbula’s artificial reef belong to the estuary part of the guide. Green Cape and Mowarry are coastal fishing areas with pelagic records, while the historic wrecks mostly give you depth and structure information. Pick the kind of session first; a wreck’s name alone does not tell you which fish are there today.
For the bonito option around the coastal areas, Andrew’s metal-lure guide puts approach and bait profile ahead of colour. Slow down before reaching the activity, allow for drift and cast through its edge when the birds are clear. If the school sounds, try a repeatable sink time rather than racing after the last splash. These are general boat-fishing techniques, not reports from the individual Eden marks.
